Max & The MAN

Having a very busy week!! We are trying to go through our homeschooling curriculum fairly quickly this month and see what we can do since they are pulling our stuff (we are officially no longer UT residents)! After this month we'll just do unit studies and fun learning projects.

Our current project is our wonderful tadpoles. Logan named his "Max." Cole named his "The Man." They seem pretty hearty--we're praying we can get them to the leg stage and let them out in our new pond in the spring. Cole is busy reading everything he can about frogs and tadpoles--he has been put in charge of their care. It has been great since Logan already had the responsibility of his kitty.

Kensi's hair is growing back somewhat--but we'll probably keep with hats for the time being.

Yesterday we went bowling with a group of homeschoolers. Had fun and did some basic math in the process. Kensi and Logan liked using the ramp to bowl with. It's pretty handy--fit well into our unit of simple machines that help us do work---Logan is all over that!

Other events we did last week were the Rube Goldberg contest. The nationals are Apr 5th at Purdue--for whoever wants to go with us!! The theme this year was to make a cheeseburger with 2 condiments and 2 vegetables. They were pretty amazing. They have to have at least 101 different processes to meet the goal.

We are having FUN! Chuck will hopefully complete the remodeling by the end of April and we'll move into the new place. The house we're in now we sold last week to the city--so now we're officially renters here! Hooray--not to own this place anymore!
